OBJECTIVE

By the end of the lesson, students should be able to express ideas in simple present using their previous knowledge

Complete the crossword with the vocabulary related to daily routines.

 Normally in the present tense we add S to the end of the verb in the 3rd person (He, She, It). 

I speak        he speaks                           you work      he works                          we write       she writes

 If the verb ends in SS, X, CH, SH or the letter O, we add + ES in the third person. 

I fix       he fixes                                      we wash     she watches                        you go     he does

 If the verb ends in a Consonant + Y, we remove the Y and + IES in the third person.

 I carry      he carries                                  you study    she studies                        we fly      it flies
